How do you measure a year in the life?

These are the highlights of my 2008. From concerts, senior year to debuts and birthday celebrations, new friendships and bff's :]

My Chemical Romance Concert (01-25-08)
The best concert i've been too so far :) got gold tickets and met up with Paola (blueblackaqua). met some new people too who i get to stay really good friends with :)

Senior Prom Night
Prom was fun. Dancing all night to renting a room in the hotel (room310), staying up all night to play cards (pusoy dos!), and falling asleep at orchestra practice the next day. haha!
Ps. i won a award which i didnt expected at all. haha

Senior year fieldtrip
We went snorkeling and trekking. one of the best fieldtrips ever. and this was our last one as a batch

Class Plays/Hallway Exhibits/Dance Practices and other things
Our batch has won lots of awards and competitions. I'd miss staying until 12midnight at school to finish our hallway exhibits, practice for the class plays and other things. It may be really tiring but we all feel elated when we receive awards for the things we worked hard to finish and acheive :)

Highschool Graduation

I've been with them since 1st grade (well most of them anyway). We may have lots of fights and misunderstandings but i'll surely miss my batchmates. :)

Turning 17
Nothing much really changed when i turned 17 but i had fun on that day. lunch with some close friends then movies after :)

Summer Beach Outing with high school Friends (Punta Fuego)
It was the really advance (3 months advance. haha) celebration of my friends 18th birthday. We went to a beach resort called Punta Fuego. Stayed there for 3days&2nights. It was the last time we could hang out before our classes in uni starts

Boys like Girls in Manila
I've got seat passes (all thanks to monique) and cd signing passes (thanks to trixie). This is the first time i really met trixie in person and i also got to hang out with some of cha and pat's friends. haha. BLG is really great live too. i watched two shows btw (atc and the one in glor) XD

Panic at the Disco concert and meeting them
Got Lowerbox tickets for me and Pat only the day before the concert but that didnt stop us from going. Got backstage passes from Gaby :D Walked around Araneta while waiting for pat's parents and kept on seeing this guy with a bunch of girls around him asking for pictures and autograph. he turned out to be the lead singer of the band chicosi (sp?). eww.

Birthday celebrations of high school classmates
Since our batch is really bonded we see to it that we have reunions every month so birthday celebrations also serves as batch reunion where we can all get together and catch up on each others lives

Uni and meeting new friends
I was a bit nervous on my first day at uni i kept on thinking that i wouldn't find friends or a group that i would fit in to but then i was wrong since i met some awesome people who stuck with me and my craziness. haha

Learning and doing things i don't usually do before
some of these things are taking the public transportation without getting lost (im still not a expert at this though) or being cheated by the taxi/jeepney/tricylce driver and eating isaw :))

Being friends with someone for more than 10 years
We've been bestfriends since we were 3. We pretty much know everything about each other and even though we live far from each other we still get to talk to constantly and find time to meet up

Meeting New People and Gaining new friends
Online and Offline. Most people I meet online became my really good friends and im thankful that i met them.I would like to name them but there a lot and i might miss someone. you guys know who you are :)

We just met recently but he really made 2008 a amazing year :D Theres alot of things i can say about him but im going to keep it to myself for now ;)

My Bff's (Gaby and Trixie)
These two girls really mean alot to me. I can tell them everything without them doubting me. I get along with them pretty well and we have so much in common. Age difference (and height. haha!) never stopped us from getting along. We seem to have this connection that what happens to one happens to the other two. I could vent out anything and they'd be there to give great advices or just to listen. The really care and I trust them alot. I love these girls so much! Thank you so much you guys! Long live the beautiful pigs :))

MCR concert tickets and Avenue Q

I had fun yesterday. lol. went to the mall with my friend. we waited for an hour for his friend to come so that we could get our mcr concert tickets. finally we got our tickets. we got five more hours to kill before going to the play that we are supposed to watch. i wasn't that excited for the play because all i was thinking about was the mcr concert. teehee. another friend arrived we were seated in the food court. he was telling stories about what happened when they went caroling and it was so hilarious. we ate dinner then went to the venue of the play. we waited for an hour for it to start. we were so bored because the play wasn't starting yet, what we did is we sent random text messages to people. lmao. the play was sooo funny. i thought it wouldn't be that good but it was actually really good. i liked the guy who played princeton/rod. I LOVE AVENUE Q. lol. there was a scene where the song was called "You Can Be as Loud as the Hell You Want", the scene was really awkward coz they brought out a bed in the stage and the puppets were making love. it was like puppet porn. lol. went home really late last night because of that.

highlights of the day:

=> saw a guy in the mall who looked like william beckett

=> got mcr concert tickets. yay!

=> watched avenue Q
